Our Advisory Board brings together individuals with diverse professional experiences, networks, and perspectives who can help strengthen AfriPAC's programs, partnerships, community reach, and long-term impact.

Advisory Board members serve as strategic resources to the organization and help AfriPAC identify opportunities to better educate, connect, and empower the communities we serve.

Who We Are Looking For

We welcome applicants from a range of professional and community backgrounds, including government and public policy, business, law, education, healthcare, technology, philanthropy, nonprofit leadership, civic engagement, communications, and community development.

We especially value individuals who can bring meaningful expertise, relationships, ideas, or resources that advance AfriPAC's charitable and educational mission.

How Advisory Board Members Contribute

Members support AfriPAC by serving as trusted advisors, ambassadors, connectors, and subject-matter resources.

Strategic Guidance

Provide insight and recommendations that help strengthen AfriPAC's programs, outreach, partnerships, and long-term strategy.

Community Engagement

Help AfriPAC expand relationships with organizations, institutions, community leaders, and constituencies aligned with our mission.

Subject-Matter Expertise

Contribute professional knowledge and practical insight relevant to AfriPAC's civic education and community-focused initiatives.

Partnership Development

Identify potential collaborators, supporters, and institutional relationships that can strengthen AfriPAC's charitable programs.

Program Support

Participate, when appropriate, in AfriPAC programs, convenings, educational activities, and community initiatives.

Organizational Growth

Help strengthen AfriPAC's visibility, sustainability, and capacity to serve African Diaspora communities across the United States.

Advisory Board Commitment

AfriPAC is looking for Advisory Board members who are willing to actively contribute to the organization's growth and mission. Depending on each member's expertise and availability, participation may include:

  • Participating in periodic Advisory Board meetings.
  • Providing strategic advice and subject-matter expertise.
  • Supporting introductions to potential partners, community organizations, institutions, or supporters.
  • Participating in selected AfriPAC programs, events, or educational initiatives.
  • Serving as an ambassador for AfriPAC's mission within appropriate professional and community networks.
  • Supporting the organization's long-term sustainability through introductions, resource development, or other forms of engagement.
Please note: The Advisory Board is an advisory body and is separate from AfriPAC's governing Board of Directors. Advisory Board members provide guidance and support but do not exercise the fiduciary or governance responsibilities of AfriPAC's Board of Directors.
